Inchcape plc ('the Company')

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange Plc for a total of 1,081,081 Ordinary Shares of 25p each ('Shares') to be admitted to the Official List.

It is expected that the application will be heard on Thursday 16 October 2008 and admission will be effective on Friday 17 October 2008.

These shares are being reserved under block listings and will be issued pursuant to the following plan/scheme:
