Directorate change

Inchcape plc ('Inchcape' or the 'Group'), a leading global automotive distributor and retailer, today announces that David Scotland will step down as a Non-Executive Director of the Group with effect from the end of the Group's AGM on 10 May 2012.

David has been a Non-Executive Director of Inchcape for seven years and Chair of the Corporate Responsibility Committee and member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committees during this time.    David has been particularly valuable in bringing a broad retail, marketing and international focus to our Board discussions.
