Inchcape £45m Share Buy Back Programme Completed
Inchcape announces that on 25th June 2001 it purchased for cancellation
230,000 ordinary shares of 150p each at a price of 435p per share.
On the 5th March Inchcape announced that it intended to return up to £45m to
shareholders, in coming months, as conditions allow. This final purchase now
completes the buy back programme.
Inchcape started to buy back its ordinary shares on 21 March 2001 and has
repurchased for cancellation a total of 10,932,500 ordinary shares leaving
77,450,407 ordinary shares in issue. The average price paid per share was 412p
and the total consideration paid was £45.0m.
