Purchase of own shares
Inchcape announces that, pursuant to the authorisation granted by the Annual
General Meeting of shareholders on 10 May 2000, it has today purchased for
cancellation 350,000 ordinary shares of 150p each at an average price of
377.7p per share leaving 88,001,480 ordinary shares in issue. The highest
price paid was 380p and the lowest price paid was 375p.
