            Analyst visit to operations in Singapore and Australia

Inchcape plc will be hosting a site visit for analysts from 11 June to 14 June
2003.

The analysts will visit Inchcape's operations in Singapore, Sydney and
Melbourne, Australia, where they will receive presentations from local
management.  The visits are intended to increase the analysts' understanding of
Inchcape's operations and strategy in these important markets.

Trading levels in a number of our markets have been slightly more favourable
than anticipated in the statement issued at Inchcape's Annual General Meeting on
15 May 2003.

No further comment will be made on trading until Inchcape issues a pre close
statement, prior to 30 June 2003.
