Board changes

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr John Whittle to the Board as an independent non-executive director with effect from 17 November 2011.

John Richard Whittle (56) is a resident of Guernsey. He is a Chartered Accountant and was until recently Finance Director of Close Fund Services where he successfully initiated a restructuring of client financial reporting services and was a key member of the business transition team. He was at Price Waterhouse in London before embarking on a career in business services, predominantly in telecoms. He co-led the business turnaround of Talkland International (now Vodafone Retail). He is a non-executive director of International Public Partnerships Limited, Aurora Russia Limited and a number of other companies.

Andrew Maiden has resigned from the Board of the Company also with effect from 17 November 2011.  He will, however, continue to serve the Company as the principal representative of Northern Trust Fund Administration Services (Guernsey) Limited, the Secretary and Administrator to the Company, and as the Company's representative of the boards of the subsidiary companies.  He has kindly stood down from the Board in order to make way for the appointment of a wholly independent director.
