NHS contract wins for Induction Booking

Induction signs multiple NHS contracts for appointment booking app

Induction Booking supporting the management of COVID vaccination appointments

Induction Healthcare (AIM: INHC), a leading healthcare technology company that helps to digitally transform hospitals, announces commercial contract wins with Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust and East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, to enlist Induction Booking, an appointment booking service, to aid coordination of COVID-19 vaccination and follow-up appointments.

The COVID-19 vaccination programme is the largest and most highly anticipated immunisation campaign in history.  Induction Booking will help the NHS Trusts manage COVID-19 vaccination and follow-up appointments for their own staff as the UK continues to forge ahead in the combat against COVID-19.

These new contracts provide further revenue and commercial momentum for Induction. The current financial year, ending 31 March 2021, will see the first full year of revenue contribution from Induction's digital product platform. The Company has been building a strong momentum in sales and annual recurring revenues across all of its subscription-based software products and has a strong pipeline of orders with multi-year contracts.

Diarmaid Cream, Chief Digital & Technology Officer, Brighton & Sussex Community NHS Trust, said: "When we first deployed Induction Booking this summer, we were able to deliver thousands of COVID-19 antibody tests within the first 10 days of using the platform. We will build on that success to support NHS Staff booking their COVID-19 vaccinations. In fact, we have already delivered tens of thousands of staff vaccine appointments over Christmas and into the first weeks of the new year. Induction Booking is proving to be an essential solution to many of the organisational and logistical challenges we are facing on the frontlines."

James Balmain, Joint-CEO of Induction Healthcare, said: "These regional contracts add to our strong sales momentum and the clear user benefits of our products are supported by the compelling uptake.  From bookings to rapid communication between health professionals, Induction products are working well together at time of intense activity and I am very proud of the part the Group is playing in the fight against COVID-19."

About Induction Healthcare - https://inductionhealthcare.com

Induction Healthcare (INHC.LSE) is a UK-based leading healthcare technology company enabling the digital transformation of hospitals. We make a range of time-saving tools that work with existing hospital IT systems, benefitting staff and patients, while ensuring the highest standards of clinical safety and information security.

More than 190,000 hospital doctors across multiple territories, including the UK, Ireland, Australia and South Africa, as well as a rapidly growing number of more than 150,000 patients, choose Induction platforms.

Induction Switch is the number one healthcare collaboration app in the UK, used by the majority of hospital doctors within the NHS. The app helps to increase productivity and enhance communication by securely sharing phone numbers and bleeps, bookmarks, documents and messages in a clinical setting.

Induction Guidance provides medical organisations, including most hospital trusts within the NHS, with the ability to collaboratively create, edit, and publish their own local medical guidelines in a secure and locally administrated environment. This increases knowledge of, and adherence to, guidance.

Induction Zesty is a market-leading digital platform for patients visiting hospitals. The platform allows patients to book and access their appointments, read their clinical letters, store a copy of their clinical record and provide data to their care teams remotely. It is not just a compelling patient experience, but also delivers significant cost benefits to hospitals.

Induction HealthStream is a proprietary data integration platform that reads and writes patient demographic, appointment and clinical record data between a growing number of hospital EHR systems and the Induction platforms. This connectivity between stakeholders and legacy IT systems adds substantial value to pre-existing health IT investment and allows large-scale adoption of Induction app-based services.

About East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust was created in April 2000, following the merger of two former NHS trusts serving the east and north Hertfordshire areas. Today, the Trust provides a wide range of acute and tertiary care services from four hospitals, namely: the Lister in Stevenage; New QEII in Welwyn Garden City; Hertford County in Hertford; and the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood, within the London Borough of Hillingdon.

Since October 2014, the Lister has been the Trust's main hospital for specialist inpatient and emergency care. The New QEII hospital, which was commissioned by the East and North Hertfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group, opened fully from June 2015 and provides outpatient, diagnostic and antenatal services, along with a 24/7 urgent care centre. Hertford County also provides outpatient and diagnostic services.
