Infoserve Group plc (the "Company") (AIM:INFS), announces that on 4 October 2010 it received notification that, on the same date, Andrew Thirkill, a non-executive director of the Company, purchased 80,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 2.25p per share. 

Following this transaction, Andrew Thirkill is now beneficially interested in 1,647,417 Ordinary Shares representing 2.79% of the issued share capital of the Company.
