                     Substantial shareholding notification

Inland PLC ('Inland') announces that on 25 April 2007 it received notification
from Henderson Global Investors Limited (using FSA Form TR1) that it purchased
950,000 Inland shares on 23 April 2007 increasing its holding to 11,649,000
Inland shares, representing 7.18% of the total voting rights attributable to
Inland's issued share capital.
