Directorate Change

Kleenair Systems International plc ("Kleenair" or "the Company"), announces that it has appointed David Pinckney (aged 70) as independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board with immediate effect.

Mr Pinckney qualified as a chartered accountant and was with KPMG from 1963-1983, for the last six years of which he was senior audit partner for France and French-speaking Africa and a member of KPMG's European partnership board.

From 1987-1997, he served as group finance director and joint managing director of the Thornton Group becoming European Finance director of Dresdner RCM Global Investors Limited on the merger of the Thornton Group with Kleinwort Benson Investment Management and RCM.

He joined AXA Investment Managers SA in 1998 where he became initially Chief Operating Officer-Far East and then Vice Chairman, retiring in December 2003.

Further to Mr Pinckney's appointment Sarah Pozner has relinquished the position of Chairman and remains an Executive Director.

Sarah Pozner commented:

"We are very fortunate in securing the services of David as Chairman. We believe his audit assurance and corporate governance skills and general business experience will be particularly useful to us. His contacts as a director of an investment company specialising in wind power are directly relevant to the Company's commitment to developing a sustainable energy business."
