Pre-close Statement
Inspace plc (AIM:INSP), the property based support services business that has
established itself as one of the UK's leading social housing repair and
maintenance service providers, will announce its Interim Results for the six
months ended 30 June 2005 on Tuesday 6 September 2005. An analyst briefing
given by Colin Enticknap (Executive Chairman) and Andrew Telfer (Chief Financial
Officer) will be held at 09:30 that same morning at the London Stock Exchange,
10 Paternoster Square, London EC4M 7LS.
The directors are pleased to confirm that current trading is in line with
expectations and that the social housing business has won further repair and
maintenance contracts totalling £66 million for the Corporation of London and
for Basildon District Council. The order book now stands at £375 million and
stretches as far as 2020.
In accordance with the AIM admission document and announcements made at the time
of listing, the directors expect to declare two interim dividends in respect of
the six months ended 30 June 2005, to be paid according to the Shareholder
register at record dates prior to and post flotation. The record date attaching
to the pre float dividend (which will amount to 5/6ths of the aggregate amount
of both dividends) was 24 May 2005. The record date attaching to the balance of
1/6th of the aggregate amount is now expected to be 16 September 2005 such that
Inspace shares will become ex-dividend on 14 September 2005.
