KLEENAIR SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL PLC ("KleenAir" or the "Company") 

PROPOSED CHANGE OF NAME AND RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

6 November 2009

The Board of KleenAir (AIM: KSI) announces its intention to seek shareholder approval to the change of the Company's name to Resource & Recovery Corporation plc. A circular convening a general meeting where, inter alia, the proposed name change will be considered will be despatched to shareholders shortly.

The Board believes that the change of name will assist the Company as it proceeds with the developing business strategy, in line with the announcements to shareholders on 8 September 2009 and 3 November 2009. The Board further believes that the new name will symbolise the Company's ongoing commitment to providing strategic environmental solutions within the natural resources sector.

Subject to the passing of the necessary resolutions at the general meeting to effect the name change, the Company's ticker code on the AIM Market and the Company's principal website address will change. 

In addition, the Board of KleenAir announces that Mr. Lionel Simons has notified the Board of his decision to resign as a Director of the Company. The Company has agreed with Mr Simons that his resignation will be effective from the date of the general meeting referred to above. No compensation will be paid in relation to Mr. Simons' vacation of office.

Commenting on Mr. Simons' resignation, Wayne Reid, Chairman said:
