Exercise of Options, PDMR Dealing and Total Voting Rights
Instem plc (AIM: INS), a leading provider of IT solutions to the global life sciences market, announces that it was notified on 19 February 2019 that certain Directors and employees of the Company, exercised share options ("Share Options") over 235,339 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").
Subsequently, on 19 February 2019, certain Directors sold some of the Ordinary Shares issued on the exercise of the options to finance the associated tax liabilities and for tax planning purposes.

Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of the 235,339 new Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM ("New Ordinary Shares"). Admission is expected to take place at 8.00 a.m. on 26 February 2019.
Total voting rights
Following the issue and allotment of the above New Ordinary Shares, the Company's issued share capital comprises 16,153,270 Ordinary Shares. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 16,153,270.
The figure of 16,153,270 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
