Intec Telecom Systems PLC (LSE: ITL), a leading supplier of billing software and
services to the global telecoms industry, announces that Roger McDowell, senior
non executive director, is stepping down from the Board after almost 5 years of
service.

John Hughes, Chairman, said: "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Roger
for his valuable contribution to Intec and wish him all the best for the future.
"
A search is underway to identify a suitable replacement possessing the skills 
and experience necessary to strengthen the Board.

The change noted above will take place with immediate effect.
