INTEC TELECOM SYSTEMS PLC
CHANGES IN BOARD MEMBERSHIP AND SENIOR LEADERSHIP
Intec Telecom Systems PLC ("Intec" or "the Company"), a leading supplier of
software solutions to the global telecoms industry, today announces a number of
changes to its Board and senior leadership team.
Kevin Adams has ceased to be a Director of the Company with immediate effect.
John Hughes, the current Chairman, will additionally assume the responsibilities
of Chief Executive on an interim basis until a replacement is recruited.
John Arbuthnott has ceased to be a Director of the Company with immediate effect
and will be replaced as Finance Director by Robin Taylor from 1 March 2007.
Between 2000 and 2005, Robin served as Group Finance Director of ITNET PLC, a
publicly listed IT managed services business. Robin played a key role in
improving ITNET's business margins and cash flows before actively participating
in its successful sale to Serco in 2005.
The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Bunney, Intec's
Chief Operating Officer (COO), Product Operations and Services for the last four
years, to the Board.
John Hughes, Chairman and interim Chief Executive, said:

and industry specific experience and he will be a valuable addition to the

the Board welcomes his appointment."

Intec currently expects to hold its Annual General Meeting on 12 April 2007.
Biographical details
Robin Taylor, 55, is currently a Director of YFD Ltd, a provider of financial
director services and a non-executive director of Covalent Software Ltd. Between
2005-06, he worked on independent consulting projects. From 2000-05, he was
Group Finance Director of ITNET PLC, a publicly listed IT managed services
business, sold to Serco in 2005. Between 1996-99, he was Chief Financial Officer
and Director of Business Development of JBA Holdings PLC (sold to GEAC in 1999).
Prior to that he held financial roles with Network Managers (UK) Ltd, Ashton
Tate Corporation and Sperry Vickers. He is a member of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of Scotland, and began his financial career at Arthur
Young & Co.
John Hughes, 55, has more than 30 years experience leading global technology
businesses, including senior executive positions at Thales Group, Lucent
Technologies and Hewlett Packard. He has significant experience of managing
growth companies and leadership teams. John has lived and worked in the USA and
mainland Europe as well as the UK, and is a member of the board of Nice Systems
Ltd, a NASDAQ-listed company (NICE). John serves as Executive Chairman of
Parity, an IT services company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Gary Bunney, 52, has 30 years experience in the IT market much of it focussed on
the telecommunications market. Gary joined Intec in 2000 initially to manage its
acquisition program and the integration of the acquired companies. Prior to
joining Intec, Gary was MD of Fujitsu/ICL's Telecoms Software Division. In his
current role, Gary is responsible for Intec's Product Portfolio, Research &
Development activities and Global service delivery.
The Company confirms that there are no other disclosures required under
paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules in respect of Robin Taylor and Gary
Bunney.
