Intec to report first quarter turnover and earnings above forecast
14 February 2002: London. Intec Telecom Systems plc (ITL.L), a major global
supplier of telecoms Operational Support Systems ('OSS'), announced today that
it expects to release first quarter (1 October 2001 - 31 December 2001) results
that will exceed its internal forecasts for turnover by around 10%. Intec also
expects to report an EBITDA profit for the quarter.
'Despite the continuing competitive conditions in the telecoms software market,
Intec has converted a significant number of new contracts in the first quarter,'
said Executive Chairman, Mike Frayne. 'Combined with a solid recurring revenue
stream from our growing customer base, and continued benefits from recent
acquisition integration, we expect to report strong results for the period.'
Intec will publish its unaudited first quarter results in full on 27 February
2002.
