New Customer Announcement

London, United Kingdom, 7 December 2010 - Intercede (London Stock Exchange AIM: IGP) today announces that Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) has licensed the Intercede MyID system to manage the secure issuance of smart card based identity credentials to 10,000 employees world-wide. The system has now been successfully deployed in G&D's Munich facilities and more than 3,500 employees have already received their Intercede MyID issued identity badges. The initial usage of these credentials is to enable enhanced access security to computer systems, networks and buildings.

Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) is a leading supplier of banknote paper, banknote printing, currency automation systems, as well as smart cards and complex system solutions in the fields of telecommunications, electronic payment, health care, identification, transportation and IT security.

The license revenue from this contract was accounted for in a previous financial period. The current and future periods benefit from annual support and maintenance renewals.
