   Notification of transactions of directors, persons discharging managerial
                      responsibility or connected persons

On 2 April 2007 the following directors and other persons discharging managerial
responsibility were awarded conditional rights over the numbers of
InterContinental Hotels Group PLC ("the Company") ordinary shares shown below
under the Company's Performance Restricted Share Plan ("the Plan").  Under the
terms of the Plan, the maximum number of shares that can be transferred if
performance conditions are met in full are as follows:

*Richard Hartman's award will be pro-rated following his retirement in September
2007, to reflect his contractual service during the performance period.
