                     NOTIFICATION OF MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENTS


8 November 2005 For Immediate Release

The Board of Intermediate Capital Group PLC ('ICG'), the leading specialist
European provider of mezzanine finance, announces new management appointments
effective immediately. Christophe Evain, Francois de Mitry, Andrew Phillips, and
Paul Piper will join Tom Attwood as Managing Directors. The Board of ICG
continues to comprise these five managing directors together with four
non-executive directors and Chairman, John Manser.

The company has formed a management committee to be responsible for strategy,
product and pricing comprising the five Managing Directors and four Investment
Directors, Benoit Durteste, Damien Scallierez, Rolf Nuijens and Piers Millar.

Commenting on these appointments, John Manser Chairman said,

'These appointments acknowledge the expertise and contribution to the company
that Andrew Phillips, Christophe Evain, Francois de Mitry and Paul Piper have
made over many years. The additional management committee appointments will
strengthen ICG's overall management team at a time when the company is operating
