Intermediate Capital Group PLC - Result of EGM
Proposed 1 for 4 Rights Issue
At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Intermediate Capital Group PLC (the
'Company') held earlier today, the ordinary resolutions to authorise the
directors to allot relevant securities of the Company pursuant to section 80 of
the Companies Act 1985 and to increase the authorised share capital of the
Company were duly passed. Provisional Allotment Letters in respect of the New
Ordinary Shares will be despatched later today. Dealings in the New Ordinary
Shares are expected to commence, nil paid, on 5 October 1999.
Unless the context otherwise requires, the definitions contained in the
Prospectus sent to Shareholders on 16 September 1999 also apply in this
announcement.
