International Biotechnology Trust plc


The Board of International Biotechnology Trust plc announces that the unaudited
net asset value per share as at Tuesday 7th November 2006  was 154.19 pence.


The Board has decided that the policy of the trust will be to accrue incentive
fee within the reported NAV of the trust, where at the date of the reported NAV,
under the terms of the management agreement, a fee is calculable as due.  This
may change each week according to the performance of the underlying portfolio.
