NEW PRIVATE PORTFOLIO COMPANY
The Board of International Biotechnology Trust plc (the 'Company') notes that
the Company has invested in a further new private company allocated to the
Ordinary and C share pools according to the most recently released net asset
value of each pool at the point of investment. The investment was as follows:
23 March - US$183,000 in Affinium Pharmaceuticals - a developer of a novel class
of oral antibacterial therapeutics, based in the USA (a further US$417,000 was
also committed subject to milestones).
