The Board of International Biotechnology Trust plc (the 'Company') notes that on
31 January 2008, the Company invested £1.5 million (US$3.0 million) in Cadent
Holdings, a private company based in the USA. Cadent has developed proprietary
computer aided design (CAD/CAM) applications for the orthodontist and dental
markets, which are deployed via a web-based service model on a pay per use
basis.
