Portfolio Update

The Board of International Biotechnology Trust plc (the "Company") notes a further investment in the unquoted portfolio company Ricerca.

The Company has invested a further $272k (£164k) in Ricerca as part of a $10.1m deal to repurchase debt at a discount to face value.  This investment brings the total invested in Ricerca to £682k with a value of £477k.
