Portfolio Update

The Board of International Biotechnology Trust plc (the "Company") notes a further investment in the unquoted portfolio company Allocure.

The Company has invested a further $374k (£225k) as part of a $5.6m Series A milestone payment, which Allocure triggered through reaching targets set when the Series A was first invested. This investment brings the total invested in Allocure to £325k with a value of £342k.  Allocure is a company focused on developing treatments for acute renal failure and medical complications following kidney transplant, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA and Hamburg, Germany.
