Portfolio Update

The Board of International Biotechnology Trust plc (the "Company") notes the following changes to the unquoted portfolio during June.

A new investment of £1.1m was made in to Gold Medal Acquisition Company Inc. to Purchase Fulcrum plc.

The value of the interest in ESBATech increased from £207k to £218k to reflect the closeness of the first escrow payment which is due in September 2010.
