Transaction in own shares

The following amendment has been made to the 'Transaction in Own Shares' announcement released on Friday, 21 August 2015 at 16:53 under RNS Number 8038W.

Due to a typographical error, the price paid per share was incorrectly stated as 5.2375p when it should have been stated as 523.75p. 

All other details remain unchanged.

The full amended text is shown below:

The Company announces that today it made a market purchase of 175,000 of its own Ordinary shares of 25p each, representing 0.43% of the issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).  The shares were bought at 523.75p per share and the Company intends to hold these shares in treasury.  These shares will only be re-issued at discounts which are less than the discounts at which the shares were bought.

Following this purchase, there are 40,272,663 Ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) and 4,490,000 Ordinary shares held in treasury.
