IAG traffic in July 2019, measured in revenue passenger kilometres, increased by 4.9 per cent versus the same period last year; IAG capacity measured in available seat kilometres rose by 3.9 per cent versus the same period last year.

On 15 July, Iberia announced that it's reducing the use of plastics on its flights by 68.5 tonnes per year. The airline is undertaking various initiatives such as the use of paper to replace plastic packaging and cabin waste recycling.
On 26 July, Aer Lingus took delivery of its first Airbus 321neo LR aircraft which operated its inaugural flight from Dublin to Hartford, Connecticut on 2 August. The A321neo LR is the most cost efficient long-range narrowbody aircraft and is fitted with a total of 184 seats in Business and Economy cabins.
On 27 July, British Airways received its first Airbus 350-1000 aircraft which features the airline's new business class seat. The Club Suite offers direct-aisle access, a suite door for greater privacy and flat-bed seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. In total, British Airways will take delivery of 18 A350s, with four of the new aircraft joining the fleet before the end of 2019.
