Board Change

Ideal Shopping Direct, a leading operator of TV and internet shopping channels, today announces that David Blake will be stepping down as Finance Director due to personal reasons.

Steve Mensforth ACA will be joining Ideal as Interim Finance Director with effect from 10 June 2008.

Steve, who qualified with KPMG, has worked with a number of retail companies in both permanent and interim capacities. During the last eight years, his experience includes: Bowater Windows as Finance and IS Director; Big Food Group as Finance Integration Programme Director and Argos Retail Group where he managed the migration and consolidation of GUS Home Shopping Functions into the Argos shared service centre.

Commenting on the appointment, Andrew Fryatt, CEO, said;

"Steve has a proven commercial focus and his breadth of experience will strengthen the business as we launch a number of key initiatives over the next few months.
