Notification of Transactions of Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMRs") and Connected Persons

Royal Mail plc (the "Company") received notification on 14 January 2016 that the Directors and PDMRs listed below acquired ordinary shares of one pence each in the capital of the Company as a result of their participation in the Royal Mail Dividend Re-Investment Plan. The transactions completed in London on 14 January 2016 and the price paid per ordinary share was £4.46. Further details are set out below:
