IDEAL SHOPPING DIRECT APPOINTS FORMER B&Q CHIEF, JIM HODKINSON AS CHAIRMAN
The Board of Ideal Shopping Direct Plc ("Ideal Shopping Direct") is pleased to
announce that Jim Hodkinson will be appointed Non-executive Chairman with effect
from 1 April 2004.
Mr Hodkinson (59) was a Director of Kingfisher Plc from 1995 to 1998 and Chief
Executive and Chairman of B&Q Plc 1995 to 1998. He was then appointed as Chief
Executive of New Look Plc (1998 to 2000). He also held Non-executive
Directorships of B&Q International Limited (2002 to 2003), Hamleys Plc (1994 to
2003) and Provident Financial Plc(1998 to 2000).
His current directorships include Edinburgh Woollen Mill Plc (joined March
2004), Polymer Logistics Holdings Limited (joined September 2002), Furniture
Village Plc (joined June 2002) and Big Ideas Management Limited (joined April
2002).
