Invinity secures DTC Eligibility for U.S. OTC trading
Invinity Energy Systems plc (AIM: IES) (AQSE: IES) (OTCQX: IESVF), a leading global manufacturer of utility-grade energy storage , is pleased to announce that it has secured DTC Eligibility to allow real-time electronic clearing and settlement in the United States for its OTCQX-listed ordinary shares through The Depository Trust Company ("DTC"). DTC Eligibility accelerates the settlement period for Invinity's OTCQX listed shares and reduces costs for investors and brokers, allowing the Company's shares to be traded though a wider selection of U.S. brokerage firms. The move is expected to further enhance the liquidity of Invinity's shares in North America.
DTC is a subsidiary of the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, a U.S. company that manages the electronic clearing and settlement of publicly traded companies. DTC Eligibility incorporates an electronic method of clearing securities, speeding up the receipt of stock and cash, and thus accelerates the settlement process for certain investors. DTC is a member of the U.S. Federal Reserve System, a limited-purpose trust company under New York State banking law and a registered clearing agency with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The achievement of DTC Eligibility further advances the Company's objective to increase U.S. investor activity in Invinity as part of a wider U.S strategy announced via RNS on 18 May 2022.
Larry Zulch, Chief Executive Officer at Invinity said:
"Securing DTC Eligibility completes our goal of enabling U.S. investors to easily trade in Invinity's shares under our OTCQX listing. Real-time electronic clearing and settlement streamlines investor access in an important market for Invinity ."
