Notification of Results
Camco International Limited ('Camco') is a leading player in the origination,
co-development, placement and management of carbon credits under the Kyoto
Protocol.
Camco intends to release its results for the period to 31 December 2006 on 8
March 2007. These results are expected to show a position broadly in line with
Camco's initial expectations, although operating costs are likely to be slightly
higher as the company has been able to expand its operations and recruit faster
than anticipated.
Although the Board and Management of Camco are pleased with the performance
achieved in the second half of the year, a number of projects which the Company
had hoped to crystallise in the last quarter of 2006 are now anticipated to
conclude in the first two months of 2007.
At 31 December 2006, the contracted portfolio was 103m tonnes, with a further
42m tonnes under late stage negotiation. The additional projects signed to the
contracted portfolio represent a 45% increase since IPO (71m). 35m tonnes have
now been commercialised through Emission Reduction Purchase Agreements (ERPAs),
also representing a significant increase (IPO 5m). The company is optimistic
about its ability to sign on further tonnes in the 1st quarter of 2007.
