Director Transfer of Shares

Iofina, specialists in the exploration and production of iodine and iodine specialty chemical derivatives, announces that it received notification on 24 December 2013, that on the same day Mr Jeffrey Ploen, Non-Executive Deputy Chairman, transferred 78,400 ordinary shares at nil cost to family and friends.

Following these transfers Mr Ploen is interested in 9,321,600 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 7.32 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

As announced on 29 November 2013 Mr Ploen, through J. Paul Consulting, Inc., (a company in which he has the sole beneficial interest) granted to Mr Lantz, Chief Executive Officer of Iofina, 125,000 options over such number of ordinary shares in the capital of the Company held by J. Paul Consulting, Inc.
