Terry brings with him a wealth of experience in the oil and gas industry and
has specific experience of oil and gas exploration in Ireland. We look forward
to working with him at this exciting time for the Company as we prepare to
embark upon our 2006 three-well drilling programme offshore Ireland.
'I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Jack for his hard work
and commitment at the time of our admission to AIM and throughout the past year
in which he has contributed greatly to Island's successes. We are pleased that
we will continue to benefit from his expertise in his new position as Commercial
Director. Phil Beck will also continue to provide valuable assistance in his
new position as New Ventures Director. With his considerable international
experience and contacts, Phil is well positioned to add impetus to our search
for new areas and projects to expand our geographic spread outside of Ireland,
which is now one of our current ambitions. The Board changes implemented will
place us in a strong position going forward by making full use of the expertise
