              COURT CONFIRMS CANCELLATION OF SHARE PREMIUM ACCOUNT

20 January 2005

iomart Group plc (the 'Company') announces that the Court of Session on 19
January 2005 confirmed the cancellation of the credit balance of £22,015,149.94
on the Company's share premium account as at 24 June 2004, which was resolved by
a special resolution of the Company dated 24 June 2004.

The Court order confirming the cancellation will be registered with the
Registrar of Companies today.
