                           DIRECTOR'S SHARE DEALING

Bill Dobbie, a non-executive director of iomart Group plc (the 'Company' or
'iomart') informed the Company today that on 20 September 2004, he sold
4,000,000 ordinary shares, representing 5.38% of iomart's issued share capital,
at a price of 63p each. These shares have been placed with institutional and
other investors.
