                         DIRECTOR'S SHARE DEALINGS

iomart Group plc ('the Company' or 'iomart') was informed on 2 February 2005
that Bill Dobbie had sold a total of 2,000,000 ordinary shares in iomart
(representing 2.69% of the Company) at a price of £1.32 per share. These shares
were placed with institutional investors on 1 and 2 of February. This
institutional demand has allowed the board of iomart to continue its policy of
maintaining an orderly market and increasing its institutional shareholder base,
whilst managing Bill Dobbie's reduced interest and role in the Company.

Following this sale Bill Dobbie has an interest in 3,521,111 ordinary shares
representing 4.74% of the Company.
