DIRECTORS' SHARE PURCHASES


IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ('IP Group' or 'the Company' or 'the Group'), the UK's leading university intellectual property commercialisation company, announces that it has today received notification from Alan Aubrey, Chief Executive Officer, and David Norwood, Special Projects Director, regarding the purchase of Ordinary Shares in the Company.


The Company was notified on 26 November 2008 that Alan Aubrey, Chief Executive Officer, purchased in aggregate 21,725 Ordinary Shares in the Company at 34.0 pence per share as set out in the table below.


The Company was notified on 26 November 2008 that David NorwoodSpecial Projects Director, purchased in aggregate 178,275 Ordinary Shares in the Company at 34.0 pence per share as set out in the table below.
