IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ("IP Group" or "the Company" or "the Group"), the developer of intellectual property based businesses, announces that Dr Alison Fielding, the Company's Chief Operating Officer, is stepping down as an executive director with effect from 30 June.
While Dr Fielding is leaving the IP Group Board for health reasons, she will remain with the Group on a part-time basis in a role that will enable the Group to continue to leverage her significant expertise. Dr Fielding will also retain her existing directorships of IP Group portfolio companies.
Alan Aubrey, Chief Executive of IP Group, said: "On behalf of the Board and the Company, I would like to thank Ali for her immense contribution to the Group over the past decade and we all look forward to working with her in her new role."
