IP Group plc - Disposal of holding in Amantys Limited

IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ("IP Group" or "the Group"), the developer of intellectual property based businesses, today announces that it has realised its entire holding in portfolio company Amantys Limited.

IP Group has received gross cash proceeds of £2.9m, representing a multiple of 5.7 times of the Group's original investment of £0.5m made in July 2010. The sale has resulted in a realised fair value gain to the Group of £2.4m.
