IQE was notified on 24 April that the Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, Dr
Godfrey Ainsworth, purchased 205,500 ordinary shares of 1p each in IQE at a
price of 15.41 per share on 24 April 2007. Following this purchase Dr
Ainsworth's total shareholding in the Company is 3,344,688 shares, representing
0.78% of the current issued share capital, being 430,711,156 ordinary shares of
1p each.
