of the Company, Dr Godfrey Ainsworth, purchased 130,729 ordinary
shares of 1p each in IQE.

Following this purchase, Dr Ainsworth's total shareholding is
2,736,299 shares representing 0.63% of the current issued share
capital, being 432,437,420 ordinary shares of 1p each.
