Notice of Preliminary Results - 17 March 2008

IQE plc (AIM: IQE), the leading global supplier of advanced wafer products and
services to the semiconductor industry, will be publishing its Preliminary
Results for the year ended 31 December 2007 on Monday, 17 March 2008.

A presentation for analysts will be held at 9.30am on 17 March at the offices of
College Hill Associates, The Registry, Royal Mint Court, London, EC3N 4QN.
