IQE plc, the leading global outsource supplier of customised wafer products and
outsource wafer services to the semiconductor industry, will be announcing its
Interim Results for the six months ended 30 June 2006 on Wednesday 30 August
2006.

A meeting for analysts will be held at 09.30 am at the offices of Buchanan
