North American cable operator selects Ubisense's myWorld based on Google Maps

Cambridge, UK - Ubisense Group Plc ("Ubisense" or the "Company") (LSE:UBI), a market leader in location based smart technology, is pleased to announce a significant new contract with a leading North American cable operations company to implement a decision support solution based on Ubisense's myWorld product.

A decision support solution helps network operations teams make more informed decisions by providing fast and easy access to network asset and customer data delivered via the Ubisense myWorld platform and utilising a Google maps style user interface. The integrated solution will be deployed at the customer's network operations center and will be implemented by the US based Ubisense Geospatial development team.

Key highlights of the solution include a storm event application to improve responsiveness and efficiency in critical situations, integration and visualisation of customer service and network data as well as real-time updates of network trouble and performance data.
