Irish Continental Group plc : Block listing app...

BLOCK LISTING APPLICATION

A listing application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to the UK Listing Authority for a block listing of 450,000 ICG Units (comprising Ordinary Shares of 65 cent and Redeemable Shares of 0.01 cent). These shares will be admitted to the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange and the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the Irish Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange upon issue.

These shares which will be allotted pursuant to the Company's Share Option Plans:

Irish Continental Group PLC 1998 Share Option Plan
Irish Continental Group PLC 2009 Share Option Plan

The shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary Shares and Redeemable Shares.
