Irish Continental Group plc ("ICG" or the "Company")

Director/PDMR Shareholding

Following the Company's announcement on 18 June 2012 of its purchase and subsequent cancellation of 700,000 of its own shares and the resulting change in the issued share capital of the Company, the Company was informed on 21 June 2012 that, the total holding of Eamonn Rothwell and his connected persons now represents approximately 16.3% of the voting rights of the Company.

The total number of shares held by Eamonn Rothwell and his connected persons remains unchanged at 3,938,971.
