The Board of Irish Continental Group plc is pleased to announce the co-option to the Board of Catherine Duffy as a non-executive Director. The appointment was effective from 14^th March 2012.

Catherine is a Partner and Head of the Banking and Financial Services Department at law firm A&L Goodbody. She has over 20 years experience as a banking and finance lawyer covering all aspects of banking including corporate and acquisition financing, ship and aircraft financing and general banking.

Catherine is Chair of the Legal Advisory Panel to the Aviation Working Group to the Unidroit Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment. She was a member of the first Advisory Group to the Irish Maritime Development Office set up to promote and assist the development of Irish shipping and shipping services. She is also a director on the Board of Directors of Beaumont Hospital and Chair of the Services and Governance Committee of the Beaumont Board.
