Irish Continental Group plc confirms that as of 6 November 2007,
following the issue of 262,500 ICG Units pursuant to the exercise of
share options, Irish Continental Group plc's total issued share
capital consists of 25,282,458 ICG Units. This includes 899,500 ICG
Units held as Treasury shares, which do not carry voting rights.
Therefore the total number of ICG Units with voting rights is
24,382,958 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the
denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they
are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their
interest in, the share capital of Irish Continental Group plc under
the Transparency (Directive 2004/109/EC) Regulations 2007 and the
Rules of both the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority and
the UK Financial Services Authority.
